About Ibis Watches
Ibis Watches is an independent watch blog focused on replica watches and the details behind familiar Swiss watch names. We write about individual references, new releases, established collections and the design choices that separate one watch from another.
Our coverage includes Rolex, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and other recognised brands. Rather than simply repeating product descriptions, we look at details such as case dimensions, dial construction, bracelets, movements and the history behind particular collections.
What We Write About
Much of the site is built around individual watches. Some articles look at new releases, while others examine replica versions, older references or changes made within a familiar collection.
When replica watches are discussed, we try to keep the specifications of the original watch separate from the characteristics of the replica itself. A movement, material or certification used by the original manufacturer should not automatically be treated as a feature of a replica.
How We Approach Watch Articles
We prefer straightforward explanations over exaggerated claims. Size, proportions, dial finishing and movement information usually tell readers more than phrases such as perfect or identical.
Articles may be revised when better information becomes available or when an older page needs clearer context. Our Editorial Policy explains this process in more detail.
Ibis Watches is not affiliated with the watch manufacturers discussed on this website. Brand and model names are used for identification and editorial discussion.
